Mixing Problem

Another useful case for differential equations are mixing problems, which involve adding fluids of various concentrations and mixing them, noting the overall concentration of the system.

Remember that concentration $c=\frac{m}{V}$ (concentration is mass per volume).

The most simple way to do these problems is:

$$\frac{dx}{dt}=x_{in}-x_{out}=rat{e}_{inflow}\times c_{in}-rat{e}_{outflow}\times c_{out}$$
