Inductance

Inductance refers to how well an object can store Magnetic Flux. The term is sometimes called self-inductance, because the magnetic flux is generated by the inductor, not like in capacitance where the charges come from the battery/wire.

• $L$ = Inductance (in Henrys, $\text{H}$, or $\text{Wb/A}$)
• ${\Phi }_B$ = Magnetic Flux generated by the inductor (in $\text{Wb}$)
• $I$ = Current (in $\text{A}$)
