Artificial intelligence (AI) is an intelligence demonstrated by machines running algorithms. These machines can perceive their changing environment, adapt, reason and take action that maximises the chance of reaching a goal/s, in a similar way to a human. Artificial Intelligence is a program that seeks to emulate humans and human-like behaviour and thoughts.
Machine Learning is a subset of AI, in which machines are not explicitly programmed their functions, but rather fed a large amount of data to ‘learn’.
