  • charge

A plane (sometimes called sheet) of charge is a 2 dimensional body with a given surface area.

800

Generally, we assume the area to be infinite so the object can have translational symmetry, and due to the Electric Field Symmetry, the plane will have perpendicular field lines everywhere.
